I can't believe it's December already! Oh my, that was quick! And while everyone seems so busy with shopping and buying gifts for their loved ones, I took the chance to create a look that would go best to any parties that you might be in. Talk about being holiday ready!
And so to start off, I've curated some products that are available at Sephora Philippines to help you re-create this Rose Gold Glam Holiday inspired look. PLUS! get to know an extra tip on how to achieve those sparkly eyes with just craft glitters!
So the first step is priming your face. Applying a primer is a MUST as it protects the first layer of your skin, covering the pores, smoothens your skin and helps your makeup stay longer. The Benefit Porefessional Primer does just that plus it comes in handy for its size!
Next is applying a foundation. I chose the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation because it's oil free, light and full coverage but it provides a radiant complexion making it perfect for this look. You may apply it with a damp beauty blender or a flat top kabuki brush. Make sure to blend up unto the neck.
Third step is to conceal the under eye area, nose line, forehead and the chin. This product is not only good in concealing dark areas of the face but it also makes these areas brighter with its luminous effect. You may also opt to set your concealer with a translucent powder to cover fine lines and prevent creasing which gives your makeup a flawless finish. This process is called "Baking". If you'll be out the whole day, I recommend you to do this.
After these, apply your foundation with a brush all over the face and the neck.
Next is to apply your blush and highlighter. This palette is perfect as it already has 3 shades of mineral blush ons and the much raved about Champagne Pop highlighter. Apply your preferred blush in a circular motion on the apples of your cheeks using a blush brush then make that glow by adding the highlighter above the cheekbones, the eye arch and the nose.
6. Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Also apply a bronzer to illuminate a slimmer face. Contour the cheek bones, the sides of the forehead and the nose.

7. PIXI Glow Mist
And lastly, cop off your look with a spray of PIXI's glow mist to set all the makeup.

In creating this look, choose a palette with rosy and neutral hues like this one from Sephora. This palette is perfect for our Halo Smokey eyeshadow look.

Next, choose a darker brown shadow and apply it on the outer v corner and inner corner of the eyes leaving a gap on the center. Just like this.

Then apply a metallic rose gold shade on the center. The key to a perfect eye makeup is blending, so always make sure that you don't leave any harsh lines on the eyes. Everything has to be mixed really well.

EXTRA TIP: You can buy rose gold glitters from National Bookstore for around Php 29.00. You can use glitter powders but those are really expensive so look for alternatives like this and save more money.
